Ramesh Kumar Shah, Founder, RK Trust and The Jain Foundation had the good fortune of spending half a day with respected Pujya Acharya Shri Taporatnasuriji Maharaj, during one of his trips to Rajasthan, when he learnt that Marasaheb was residing at Shree Pavapuri Tirth - Jeev Maitridham. Rameshji used the opportunity to invite him to spend Chaturmas at Ujwala Farm in Kalandri, Sirohi district.

Special Notice:

I want to inform you that when you came to Pavapuri Tirth, you had respectfully requested to send Sadhus and Bhagvants to Ujvala Farm for Chaturmas. Before that, you had conveyed this message through Rishabh as well. In Pavapuri, you made the request known, and Ganivarya Shri Hemya Vijayji also agreed that your suggestion was commendable. Therefore, it is possible for him to perform the Chaturmas worship at Ujjvala Farm. Sadhitashriji has also graciously accepted this idea. Hence, it is decided that Sadhitashriji, along with the Rishabh family and others, will come to Ujjvala Farm for Chaturmas.

The entire arrangement is in place. The natural and picturesque environment of this place is wonderfully harmonious. Inside the army of saints, there is peace and tranquility. The Chaturmas event being organized here will enhance the joy of the devotees.

Therefore, the saints and families are requested to make every possible effort to stay here according to their convenience. Let your friends and family know to come and stay here for a few days. They will find great solace and religious satisfaction through the association with the saints.

The Chaturmas organized here will enrich everyone’s spiritual practice and bring immense religious merit.

In a small span of a two months an Upashray, kitchen, Bhojanalaya and Lecture Hall are under construction to facilitate Chaturmas at Ujwala Farm. The original date for Chaturmas – Pravesh was 17th July which was then brought forward to 7th of the same month. The pace of work then increased manifold with a shorter window to close the arrangements. Finally the original date prevailed.

A temple with walls smeared in lime is being built, so that the atmosphere remains conducive to connecting with one’s inner self. Care is being taken to ensure that the arrangements at the farm tie in with minimalism. Copper & Aluminium plates, buckets with lids, clay pots, racks, and writing tables are being sourced from the Padiwal-Kalandri community to avoid purchasing new ones. All material required is being sent by lorry so that smaller forms of transportation like cars and tempos do not need to be used.

The usage of digital devices and apps will not be permitted on the farm during the period of Chaturmas.

Invitations for guests have been made and handwritten by the physically challenged who work for Sahaayam Public Charitable Trust, Surat. They are made on handmade paper with eco friendly ink also made in-house. The invites have been crafted into a scroll, accompanied by an ink pot and wooden fountain pen. www.sahaayam.org www.sahaayam.org
